Almost every family has a piece of jewelry that no longer gets worn. A ring tucked in a drawer, a broken chain, a stone inherited but never set. The value is there, and so is the memory. What is missing is a form you actually want to wear today. That is precisely our workshop's craft.
What can be reworked
Most pieces in gold or set with stones can be reborn. Among the most common:
- Inherited rings that no longer fit or feel dated.
- Broken chains, old necklaces, mismatched earrings.
- Loose stones from older pieces, ready for a new setting.
- Wedding bands from a previous chapter, redesigned for today.
We work with your material, not ours. The gold you bring becomes the piece you will wear.
How the transformation works
The process is simple and carries no obligation at the outset.
- The meeting. Bring the piece, or send us photos to start the conversation.
- The assessment. We weigh the gold, examine the stones, and note what can be reused.
- The design. We sketch one or two directions, then refine until it sits right.
- The making. Cast, set, polished. Your gold, reinvented, usually ready in three to four weeks.
Keep the memory, change the form
Transforming an heirloom does not erase its history. It extends it. Your grandmother's stone can become a ring you wear every day. The gold from a forgotten piece can be the material for an entirely new creation. The memory stays, in a living form.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take?
Generally three to four weeks between approval of the design and the finished piece, depending on complexity.
What if the piece has little market value?
Gold with little sentimental value can serve as raw material for a new creation. Nothing is lost.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
No. Many projects begin with a simple idea. We sketch with you until we find the right form.
