Your engagement ring, in three steps

North American sizes, in half sizes. Find yours two ways:

1. From a ring that fits: measure its inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimetres.
2. From your finger: wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure that length in millimetres. That is the circumference.

Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest. Between two sizes, choose the larger one.
