Description

A pear-cut lab-grown diamond, point up, in a prong solitaire setting. The softest of the fancy shapes, part round, part marquise, and the one that never looks like anyone else's ring. A row of small lab-grown diamonds runs along both shoulders of the band and catches the light on either side of the centre stone.

North American sizes, in half sizes. Find yours two ways:

From a ring that fits: measure its inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimetres.
From your finger: wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure that length in millimetres. That is the circumference.

Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest. Between two sizes, choose the larger one. For a wide band, 5 mm or more, go up a half size.
